Newshub has won two honours at the 2018 Voyager Media Awards, for Best Headline or Hook and the Environmental / Sustainability Award.
The awards - previously called the Canon Media Awards - have a history dating back over 45 years and are governed and managed by the Newspaper Publishers' Association (NPA).
Newshub reporter Isobel Ewing won the Environmental / Sustainability Award, beating fellow nominees from New Zealand Geographic, New Zealand Listener and North & South.
Taylor Sincock, Newshub's head of social media, won the award for Best Headline or Hook.
"It's an honour to be recognised for this prestigious award," Mr Sincock said.
"It wouldn't have been possible without the support of the fantastic Newshub digital team, who always inspire me to be creative."
There was a special tribute paid to veteran journalist Keith Slater, who died in 2017. Slater had produced a wide variety of New Zealand current affairs shows including 60 Minutes, 20/20, A Current Affair and Fair Go.
The 2018 Voyager Media Award winners were decided by a panel of 66 judges, whose profiles can be read on the official website.
