Band Smash Mouth have picked a fight with DJ Khaled on social media after the 'I'm The One' hitmaker said he shouldn't have to give his partner oral sex.
In a recently resurfaced video from a radio interview, Khaled said he believes his partner should go down on him, but he won't go down on her.
"Nah, never. Nah, I can't do that. Hell nah...I can't do that. I don't do that," he said when the host directly asked him if he would perform the act on his wife.
When asked if he would be okay with not receiving oral sex from his partner Khaled responded: "Nah, it's not okay. You gotta understand I'm the don, I'm the king."
He later elaborated that there are "different rules" for men and women.
His comments didn't go down well on social media with many criticising his views - including the band Smash Mouth.
The 'All Star' hitmakers' official Twitter account retweeted an article about Khaled's views with a cutting comment.
"A King who doesn't is no King at all," the band said.
Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood said Khaled was "seriously missing out".
Many other users also weighed in, calling Khaled's comments "regressive" and "immature".
"Dudes used to make this argument in grade 10 then they stopped and realized how dumb it was lmao," one user said.
"Oh I see dj khaled still sucks ? got it," another said.
