More FM Breakfast show host Simon Barnett updated listeners on his wife's medical situation two weeks into her beginning radiation therapy.
Simon took an extended leave of absence from his radio job after Jodi was diagnosed with lesions on the brain following a major seizure that was "beyond awful."

Simon, broadcasting from his newly-installed home studio in Christchurch, shared that his wife Jodi is "doing really well."
"Jodi's started treatment, we're two weeks into that and [she] seems to be responding really well," he told co-host Gary McCormick.
The broadcaster also took the opportunity to recognise the support the couple had been shown following the news.
"We're just enormously grateful to everybody for the love and the cards and the prayers - we'll take everything."
Jodi underwent a "significant" brain operation in May to remove a lesion, but testing revealed she would need radiation therapy every day for six weeks, followed by chemotherapy for six months.
"It was malignant, and that's really confronting," Simon said on-air last month. "I'm a 51-year-old grown man but I have to leave the lights on at night because I just get so scared."
