Shavaughn Ruakere and her partner Enrique have been the first couple to be eliminated in the final episode of Dancing With The Stars NZ.
This follows last week's dance when the couple were in the bottom two, even after they scored their first 10 in the competition.
Also known as 'Shavrique', the couple performed to 'Islands in the Stream' by Kenny Rodgers and Dolly Parton, dedicating the song to her mum and dad.
"We felt happy and relaxed tonight, it was so nice," said Shavaughn.

The judges commented that more than anything, Shavaughn appears to enjoy every step but the dance needed to be more dynamic.
They awarded them a respectable score of 26, but the couple sadly didn't receive enough votes to take them into the final three.
Shavaughn's chosen charity was The Breast Cancer Foundation in honour of her best friend who died from the disease.
