Actress Robin Wright has spoken for the first time since her former House of Cards co-star Kevin Spacey was fired from the show after accusations of sexual misconduct.
She says the Netflix show's cast and crew were "ultimately saddened" by the revelations.
In the interview, Wright says she and Spacey were more co-workers than friends.
"We were co-workers really, we never socialised outside of work," Wright told NBC's The Today Show.
Spacey was first accused of sexual misconduct in October last year by actor Anthony Rapp, before further allegations by House of Cards production staff were aired days later.
After Spacey's dismissal, Netflix announced it would air a sixth season of the show with Wright's character as the focus.
The sixth season of House of Cards is due for release in spring.
