Former Prime Minister Sir John Key's son Max says he's broken up with his girlfriend, Renee Brown.
He announced his bachelor status on Instagram when someone asked him if he was still dating.
"Nope! Just me and my boy now," Max replied, holding his pet dog.
The 23-year-old aspiring DJ and vlogger was previously in a relationship with beauty pageant runner-up Amelia Finlayson, before they called it quits in January, 2016.
Max announced his romance with Renee, a former architecture and psychology student and previous girlfriend of Black Caps star Mitchell McClenaghan, earlier this year.
On Valentine's Day, Max took to Instagram with a loved-up photo declaring: "It may be our first, but it won't be our last".
His latest social media posts suggest that was indeed their one and only Valentine's Day together.
In another Instagram story post about his becoming single again, Max said he was taking "time to work on myself" and reiterated his plan to run for Prime Minister in 2044.
He also claimed to be working on new music and online video content.
