The upcoming James Bond film is searching for a Māori actor to play the villain's henchman.

A fan site has uncovered a casting notice that calls for a Russian male villain, a Russian woman and a Māori henchman to play opposite Daniel Craig.
The role asks for an authoritative, cunning, ruthless, and loyal character between the ages of 35 and 55. The actor must also have advanced physical, fighting, and stage combat skills.
In 2002, Lawrence Makoare played Māori henchman Mr Kil opposite Pierce Brosnan in Lee Tamahori's Die Another Day.
The production on the 25th Bond instalment is set to begin shooting in December, with the film due to be released in October next year.
It is written and will be directed by Danny Boyle, who made Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire, and 127 Hours.
