Oprah Winfrey has revealed she was caught off-guard as a guest at the Royal Wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in more ways than one.

"I was unprepared for the depth of emotion I felt stepping onto the grounds of Windsor Castle," she says in the upcoming edition of O, The Oprah Magazine.
"It literally took my breath away."
The TV icon confessed the magnitude of marriage even had her talking to herself, despite the fact she's often at the top of the guest list for some of the world's biggest events.
"I exclaimed out loud to no one in particular: 'Whoa! This right here is a whole 'nother level!'"
Oprah said she was overwhelmed by the historical significance of the occasion, and what it might mean for the former Suits actress.
"I thought immediately... of the astounding moment Meghan Markle was stepping into. And what it would take to be prepared for such a moment.
"The life she was leaving behind and the new world to which she was risingall part of a destiny she helped design."
Oprah attended the wedding after spending time with Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland.
The former talk show host reportedly invited the Duchess of Sussex's mother over for a yoga session before gifting her some home-grown kumquats.
In a recent interview with British Vogue, the media mogul also revealed the panic behind her last-minute outfit change.
"In the picture the dress looked white, not cream," she said of her original gown.
"I googled, 'Can you wear white to a wedding?' Answer: 'No don't risk it.'"
Oprah had the team from fashion house Stella McCartney working through the night to create a new dress, a dusty pink outfit she paired with a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses.
