Warner Bros is looking at reviving beloved '80s sitcom ALF, according to reports.
The reboot "is in its early stages and a search is underway for a writer", Deadline says it's been told by unnamed sources.
ALF followed a small, fat, furry, arrogant alien who gets stuck in a middle-class American household, where he desperately wants to eat the family's cat.
His name was a parody of E.T. - Alien Life Form, versus Extra Terrestrial.
The show ran from 1986 - 1990, but has been referenced in pop culture many times since, in The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Big Bang Theory, Mr Robot, Guardians of the Galaxy and Hot Tub Time Machine, among others.
ALF would be just the latest of several classic TV shows that have recently been revived, such as Roseanne, MacGuyver, Full House, Charmed, Magnum PI, Gilmore Girls and Twin Peaks.
