Kiwi singer Lorde and All Blacks captain Kieran Read have met up ahead of the second Bledisloe Cup test on Saturday night.
Read posted a picture of the two together on Instagram on Friday afternoon, showing they had exchanged signed gifts.
The 'Green Light' singer had given Read a signed copy of her Pure Heroine album with a personal note that he was her favourite All Black, while Read gave her a signed black jersey.
"Hope you enjoy your first All Black test tomorrow," Read captioned the post.
Lorde responded in the comments to wish him good luck with the game. The singer is currently on break from her Melodrama world tour and will next play in Chile on November 10.
Multiple New Zealand media personalities commented on the post to express their surprise at the union and to wish Read well at the game including YouTube personality How to Dad.
