The gossip website reports Kendall and her boyfriend Ben Simmons were seated on the patio outside the restaurant when the dog nipped at the child.
The staff at the restaurant reportedly gave the girl ice for her injury, although there were no visible puncture wounds.
A source told TMZ the child's mother went to speak to Kendall about the incident, but she was nowhere to be found, having settled her bill and left the scene.
The LAPD was called, and the police later referred the case to Animal Control.
On the day of the alleged incident, Kendall posted a modelling photo standing next to her dog with the caption "listen to momma".
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had previously referred to her dog on Instagram as "cute, but she'll rip your head off."
She captioned another snap of the dog, jaws open: "She'll get yuh [sic]."
Kendall has not yet publicly commented on the incident.
