Jacinda Ardern's "hot bodyguard" Iain McKay has married TVNZ political editor Jessica Mutch.
The pair tied the knot on Saturday at Waiheke Island's Mudbrick Vineyard, with Mutch's colleague Matty McLean as celebrant.
McKay, 31, asked Mutch, 33, to marry him at Auckland restaurant The Sugar Club in December last year.
The diplomatic protection officer became well known due to his "hipster beard" when he was spotted protecting the Prime Minister at Labour's campaign launch last year.
The couple have been together since 2015.
