The Wu-Tang Clan is coming to New Zealand in December this year, 25 years on from the release of their iconic album Enter The Wu Tang (36 Chambers).
All nine remaining members of the group will perform for Kiwi audiences in Christchurch and Auckland later this year, including Ghostface Killah, RZA, GZA, Method Man and Raekwon.
Seven of the clan appeared together at Raggamuffin festival in Auckland two years ago, but bringing the entire legendary line-up to Aotearoa is a first for Kiwi audiences.
Arranging the long-awaited show was no easy feat, with promoter Gareth Popham stating they've wanted to put on the show for 19 years.
"We couldn't be happier to announce today," he added.
The Wu-Tang Clan first formed in 1993, and has since been heralded as "the best rap group ever" by Rolling Stone.
The Wu-Tang Clan 2018 NZ tour dates:
- Christchurch - Thursday December 13 - Horncastle Arena
- Auckland - Friday December 14 - Trusts Arena
