Joaquin Phoenix's look as the new Joker in the upcoming origin film, simply titled Joker, has been revealed.
Phoenix has gone for a different spin on the traditional white face and green hair look, but is still as terrifying as ever.

Flashing the well-known Joker grin, the video switches between him smiling and them him as the Joker before finally showing the actor in full clown makeup.
Joker is set to be a low-budget film costing US$50 million, set in the '80s, and follows the story of the Joker as a stand-up comedian who turns to a life of crime after a particularly bad performance.
The film will be directed by Todd Phillips, who has made of variety of comedy movies such as The Hangover trilogy, Due Date and Old School.
Pheonix told website Comicbook DC it won't be a typical superhero film.
"It feels unique, and I think more than anything, and probably the most important thing, is Todd seems very passionate about it and very giving, and so that's exciting."
Pheonix's predecessors as the Joker include Jared Leto, Jack Nicholson and the late Heath Ledger.
The DC film is set for release in October 2019.
