The late Johnny 'Danger' Bennett was honoured with the Social Media Award on Friday night at the 2018 Georgies - George FM's annual NZ Music and Lifestyle Awards.
Bennett was posthumously voted for by George FM listeners after he died in a motorcycle accident near the Auckland suburb of Albany on April 25.

The trophy for Bennett was accepted by his mother, Gina Mason.
As she accepted the award, Ms Mason thanked the audience for voting for her son and used his catchphrase to celebrate.
"Hell f**king yeah," she said.
It was also revealed the Social Media Georgie has been renamed after the man himself, and will now be known as the Johnny Danger Social Media Award.
Bennett's stunts and comedy, published on social media, found favour amongst George FM listeners, and Georgies attendees dedicated a unified 'danger swig' in his memory.
