Max Key, son of former Prime Minister Sir John Key, has launched a new Instagram account detailing his dad's daily life since leaving Parliament.
The aspiring DJ got the idea for the new social media venture after a trip to Countdown supermarket with his dad over the weekend.
After filming his father shopping for groceries using the hashtag #JohnKeyDoingStuff, The Bachelor NZ star Art Green messaged the 23-year-old asking for more.
"The world needs more #JohnKeyDoingStuff," Green wrote.
The concept was then put to Max's 64,000 followers in a poll, with an overwhelming majority responding "yes".
The new account features snaps of the former Prime Minister from his recent shopping trip, along with photos of him holding a baby and eating a hot dog at an A&P show.
At the time of publishing, @johnkeydoingstuff has amassed more than 1000 followers and is continuing to grow in popularity.
