Addressing the situation on her Beats 1 show Queen Radio, a furious Nicki claimed Cardi needed "an intervention".
"You're angry and you're sad... this is not funny, and this is not about attacking," Nicki yelled.
"Get this woman some f**king help!"
TMZ cameras captured the moment Cardi lunged at Nicki at the Harper's Bazaar party, before being escorted from the premises sporting a nasty bump on her head.
"You put your hands on certain people, you gon' die. Period," Nicki warned.
"I was mortified. I could not believe how humiliated [sic] it all felt".
Prior to the fashion week party where the show-throwing went down, Cardi said "all bets were f**kin' off" in an Instagram post accusing Nicki of speaking ill of her baby.
"I would never discuss anyone's child," said Nicki.
"I am not a clown. That's clown shit."
The beef between the two chart-topping rappers was reportedly ignited last year, when Nicki liked an Instagram comment dissing Cardi's freestyle.
Since then, the pair clashed over their respective verses on Migos track 'Motorsport', with Nicki later claiming she was 'hurt' over Cardi's comments about her involvement.
As well as allegeding Cardi had "post-partum depression", Nicki also made digs at her previous work as a stripper and a reality TV star.
"I'm not the bitches in the strip club and I'm not a bitch on a reality show,' she added.
"My money is very f**king long."
While Cardi left the party battered and bare-foot, Nicki was reportedly left unscathed by the incident.
