Sir Peter Jackson has released the trailer for his newest film, They Shall Not Grow Old.
The documentary, which will be Sir Peter's first film in four years, features colourised and restored World War I footage, drawing on the director's exclusive access to the Imperial War Museum's film archive as well as BBC archives.
It will premiere on October 16, just before the centenary of the WWI armistice, which occurred on November 11, 1918.
The Academy Award winner and director of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies took to Facebook on Saturday to say he was "immensely proud" of the project.
"This is The Great War as you've never seen it, but as the soldiers lived it - in colour."
