Rhythm and Vines has announced its first release of acts for the upcoming New Year's Eve event, which will be headlined by Californian rapper Vince Staples.

Off the back of two critically-acclaimed albums, Staples promises to see punters through to 2019 with a high-energy performance.
He's joined by drum and bass producer Wilkinson, known for his hits 'Afterglow' and 'Dirty Love' and Australian producer duo Flight Facilities, said to have secured a loyal following after releasing 'Crave You' in 2010.
Also on the line-up are Bicep Live, SASASAS, Foals (DJ Set), Mija, Montell2099, Trei, Hollywoo DJS, Lee Mvtthews, Deadbeat, Jon Lemmon, Jack Berry, Soaked Oats, Tchami x Maala, Fred V x Grafix, Habstrakt and Midland.
Rounding out the artists announced so far are Duke Dumont, SuperDuperKyle, Bob Moses, Whethan, Cashmere Cat, Peggy Gou, Sonny Fodera and Set Mo.
The four-day event boasts more than 100 international and local acts, with the Kiwi artists including the likes of Baynk, JessB, Montell2099, L.A.B and Drax Project.
Now in its 16th year, Rhythm and Vines is a four-day event that will take place at Waiohika Estate, Gisborne and expects 21,000 attendees.
A full schedule with more acts will be announced in November.
