Oscar-winning actor Anne Hathaway has posted an adorable photo with Jacinda Ardern and her daughter Neve, a little over a week after the pair met.
Hathaway, a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, met with the Prime Minister while she was in New York for the UN General Assembly.
The photo showed Ms Ardern holding Neve (who faces away from the camera), while Hathaway touches the baby's cheek.
"[Flashback Friday] to last week when I had the honour of speaking with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand… about the exciting and necessary work the PM is doing to increase [paid parental leave] in NZ," she wrote.
"I also got to meet her daughter Neve!"
Hathaway reportedly requested the chance to meet Ms Ardern while she was in New York.
"I'm very familiar with her work and very excited to have a chance to discuss mutual interest particularly around family policies and children's policies," Ms Ardern told media at the time.
The Prime Minister continued that she was "pleased" that the Les Misérables star had "recognised the work New Zealand has done over successive number of years to lift the wellbeing of kids and families".
