Ksenia of Married At First Sight NZ has hit out viewers seeing her as a villain on the show, insisting she's "not that mean".
The 33-year-old Russian-born wife of co-star Wayne opened up to More FM about how difficult it is watching herself on the show.
"It was difficult for me to watch. I thought I was a bit mean to Wayne," Ksenia said.
"I sent him a text message and I apologised for that... he texted me back. He was very supportive, he said it was a shame they didn't show the funny side of me. I'm not that mean."

Ksenia said while an episode showed Wayne listing things he liked about her - at her request after she labelled his chat "boring" - her listing of things she liked about him was edited down.
She said she was "under the table" during some of the episode as watching it was just too hard.
When asked if the pair have a chance of making it as a couple or are just a "train wreck waiting to happen", Ksenia pointed out she was still wearing her wedding ring.
"From the wedding, I saw there was potential. I can't say anything bad about Wayne... there was never dislike or anything. You guys have to watch and see."
