New Zealand rapper Scribe has been granted electronic bail.
Scribe, real name Malo Ioane Luafutu, has been in custody since August after he was arrested for allegedly travelling to Motueka to perform at a concert, which was not approved under his 24-hour-a-day curfew, Christchurch Court News reports.

He has been granted electronically monitored bail, and will reappear in court on December 13 on a breach of protection order charge.
A methamphetamine possession charge against the rapper has also been remanded to that date. He's seeking discharge without conviction on that charge.
Scribe found fame in the early 2000s. His debut single 'Stand Up' won Single of the Year at the 2004 New Zealand Music Awards.
