Comedian Pete Davidson has mercilessly laid into Kanye West on Saturday Night Live (SNL), a week after the rapper's infamous rant on the show.
The 'Gold Digger' hitmaker gave a speech on the set of the comedy show he'd just featured in that included conspiracy theories and praise of US President Donald Trump.

Davidson gave his version of what happened in the latest episode, while also strongly advising West to go back on his medication and avoid speaking about politics.
"Kanye said that Democrats broke up black families with welfare and that slavery is not real. You know how wrong about politics you have to be for me to notice?" said Davidson.
"You know how annoying that is? Like Kanye is a genius, but a musical genius. Joey Chestnut is a hot dog-eating genius, but I don't want to hear Joey Chestnut's opinion about things that aren't hot dog-related."
Davidson felt qualified to discuss West's mental health as a self-described fellow "crazy person".
He talked openly about being on medication for mental health himself, and referenced his mother and therapist's conversations about medication to him during the segment.
"[Kanye] I know you're like, 'No, this is the real me, I'm off the meds'. Take 'em!" Davidson said.
"There's no shame in the medicine game. I'm on 'em. If I ever got on a plane and the pilot said, 'I just want you to know, this is the real me flying the plane,' I'd jump out. Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass."
Davidson described West's rant on the SNL set as "one of the worst, most awkward things I've ever seen while working here".
He played a clip of what he was doing when West was speaking - which included hanging his head down before slinking offstage.
Finally, Davidson brandished a hat he'd had made up to look like the infamous Make America Great Again caps - but the words read Make Kanye 2006 Again.
West has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but said in a recent TMZ Live interview that he had stopped taking medication for his condition.
Meanwhile, the rapper deactivated his Twitter and Instagram accounts over the weekend, after months of causing controversy. In addition to his SNL rant, West claimed that slavery is "a choice", changed his name from 'Kanye West' to 'Ye', and called for the abolishment of the US constitution amendment that outlawed slavery.
