Kiwi childhood icon Suzy Cato stole the show at the 2018 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards on Thursday night, hosting an impromptu singalong.
While presenting the award for Single Of The Year with Kings, he prompted her to sing one of her classic songs.

"It's our time," he joked on-stage, leading Cato respond, "No, it's their time!" before launching into song.
Those attending the awards at Auckland's Spark Arena lit up at the opportunity to join in with the sudden performance of 'It's Our Time', a loud chorus echoing her words.
Cato received a roaring applause for the unexpected musical hit while some even leaped to their feet to sing along.
The Single Of The Year was awarded to Drax Project for their hit 'Woke Up Late', which they also performed earlier in the night.
