I felt very out of place, what with all the bum bags and 'dad sneakers' and people wearing sunglasses inside (here's looking at you Max Key).
Luckily, I'd heard a rumour that for all the cool young things these days, "looking like a snack" is the ultimate compliment.
Urban Dictionary explains that the point behind it is that you're "basically saying that person looks so good you can eat them all up".
Similar to saying they're "looking fresh or flee", UD adds.
So that's cleared up.
Anyway, with all these good looking faces on the red carpet, I decided to find out what kind of snacks our favourite Kiwi celebs would be, if they had to choose.
Just cool, unique content.
There was a lot of baffled "is that a good thing?" which was wild to me, because yes, OK, some snacks are better than others, but all snacks ARE good.
So which Kiwi celeb was "salt and vinegar chips" and which was "activated charcoal chocolate gelato"?
Watch the video to find out.
