The highly anticipated trailer for the fourth Avengers movie has been released after Marvel fans were left with a cliffhanger at the end of the previous film.
Avengers: Infinity War was released in New Zealand on April 25, 2018 and left fans wondering how the Marvel Cinematic Universe was going to pick up the pieces after the ending.

Avengers: Infinity War saw villain Thanos succeed in his quest to wipe out half the population of the universe and the death of multiple Marvel superheroes.
Spider-Man, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Bucky Barnes, Black Panther, Dr Strange and Nick Fury were among the casualties.
The new trailer for Avengers: Endgame doesn't give away any clues, except to reveal the remaining characters are split up across the universe.
It did confirm fan favourites Hawkeye and Ant-Man will be returning in the next film. The pair each appeared in separate scenes of the trailer.
Fans excited by the trailer took to social media to share their feelings.
"Appreciation post for a smiling Scott Lang [Ant-Man] in a trailer full of death and despair," one Marvel fan said.
"SDFEGHDAFSGAFDGFKDAFSHJADGHKFDKJA," Moviebluffs podcast host Liam Dryden wrote, failing to construct a coherent sentence.
Avengers: Endgame, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is slated for release in North America on April 26, 2019.
Captain Marvel, which stars Brie Larson as the titular captain, is due to be released a month before on March 8, 2019.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is expected to follow on from Avengers: Endgame, and will be released on July 5, 2019.
