The 'I Like It' rapper took to Instagram to announce the split on Wednesday, in a video captioned "there you go...peace and love".
"So everybody been bugging me and everything, and you know, I've been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now," she said in the clip.
"We are really good friends and we are really good business partners, you know - he's always somebody that I run to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven't been working out between us for a long time."
"I guess we just grew out of love, but we are not together anymore," she added.
While Cardi B maintained that the separation was "nobody's fault", evidence of Offset's rumoured infidelity appears to have surfaced.
A woman called Summer Bunni cried as she spoke to TMZ via video chat, admitting she "feels ashamed" about her involvement with the Migos rapper.
"I have not spoken to Cardi B but I would like her to know I'm a very genuine person and I am not here to break up her family," she said.
"I'm very sorry this has happened."
Cardi B has not responded to the scandal, but during the announcement on social media told fans she would "always have a lot of love" for her ex.
The couple were married in September 2017, and welcomed their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus in July.
