Demi Lovato has lashed out at tabloids on Twitter, saying she will reveal the story behind her near-fatal overdose when she is ready.
The 'Skyscraper' singer was found unconscious in her Hollywood Hills home on July 24, and was reportedly revived by emergency services who administered Narcan, a treatment for opioid overdoses.

She opened up about the overdose in a now deleted Instagram post on August 6. In the post she said her addiction was an illness that she must continue to overcome.
Lovato said she was not yet ready to share details about what happened on July 24, but when she is she will share the information herself.
In the meantime she wants time to heal and get over the events.
"Stop writing about my recovery, because it's no one's business but mine. I am sober and grateful to be alive and taking care of ME," she said.
The singer also lashed out at publishers who shared information about her during her recovering, saying any information given to them from "sources" was likely incorrect.
"Any 'source' out there that is willing to talk and sell stories to blogs and tabloids about my life isn't actually a part of my life because most of the shit I see is soooooo inaccurate," she said.
"So newsflash: your 'sources' are wrong."
Recent stories about Lovato have centred around wrapping up her difficult year, which included releasing a song publicly discussing her relapse, and rumours she was dating her alleged sobriety coach Henry Levy.
