Offset explains why he crashed Cardi B's concert to embarrassingly try to win her back

Rapper Offset has addressed his cringe-worthy public attempt to win back ex Cardi B by crashing her concert with an apology and grand gesture.

The Migos star interrupted his estranged wife's performance at Rolling Loud over the weekend, surprising her with flowers and a sign that read: 'Take me back Cardi'.

"I just want to tell you I'm sorry, bruh," Offset told her in a clip captured by a fan.

"In person. In front of the world."

While she didn't respond on-mic, Cardi appeared to reprimand her ex, pointing her finger and shaking her head. Eventually, the lights went down and the stage was cleared.

Offset took to Twitter the next day to explain his thought process.

"All of my wrongs have been made public, I figure It's only right that my apologies are made public too," he wrote.

"A n***a was just trying ... thank god I ain't got no balloons, sheeesh."

After her performance, Cardi posted a video to her Instagram account warning her fans not to "violate her baby father" with abuse.

In a second video, the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper referenced comedian Pete Davidson's admission he didn't "want to be on this earth anymore", having previously opened up about being cyber-bullied.

"I wouldn't want my baby father to have that feeling because millions of people be bashing him every day," she said.

The hip-hop power couple split earlier this month. They were married in September 2017, and welcomed their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus in July.

Offset was set to be playing New Zealand festival Bay Dreams alongside Cardi B in early 2019 with Migos, but the group cancelled after the couple broke up. Cardi B is still on the line-up.
