Thomas Markle spoke with the Daily Mail about the Duchess Of Sussex with the intention of "correcting the lies" he believes have been written about him.
"I'm hurt by what's happened but I'm not going to stay silent," he said.
"I have made dozens of attempts to reach my daughter via text and letters, but she and Harry have put up a wall of silence.
"So I am reaching out to them, once again, to try to correct the lies and get the truth out there."

Having been accused of missing Meghan's first wedding to film producer Trevor Engleson, Thomas produced a photo of the pair allegedly taken before he walked her down the aisle.
He also maintained that the couple handed out a small "baggy" of cannabis to each of their guests as a wedding favour.
"It's illegal, but it's no big deal in Jamaica," he said in the interview.
"It's almost customary down there. I don't smoke weed and to the best of my knowledge, nor does Meghan.
"I don't know what I did with mine. I think I gave it away."
Thomas also shared private cards written by Meghan to her father, in an attempt to dispel the myth that they were never that close.
"Daddy, I don't express as often as I should how much you mean to me," one card read.
"Everything you do for me has turned me into who I am and I am so grateful. All I want to do is make you proud... and I promise, no matter what, I'll do it.
"Thank you for everything daddy. I love you with all of my heart now and forever."
Thomas' latest tell-all comes amid of a spate of reports that Meghan has been dubbed 'difficult' for her conduct within the royal family.
