Friends actor Matt LeBlanc has recalled the moment a fan of the sitcom thought he was his character Joey Tribbiani's father.
LeBlanc appeared on the American morning show Live with Kelly and Ryan on Thursday (US Time) to discuss the unrelenting popularity of Friends and the positive effect it has had on his career.

But it looks as if not every fan of the show knows what character the actor played, with LeBlanc recounting the time he was stopped by a teenager on the street who thought he played Joey's father.
"I was walking down the street one day, this was a few years ago, and this kid must've been 13 or 14 and he's like 'Oh my god, you're Joey's dad'," the teen apparently said.
"My response was 'scram', that's what an old guy says."
Le Blanc's comments were similar to those he made on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2017 potentially channelling his inner Lady Gaga, who was caught out recently telling the same story in her interviews.
Friends aired between 1994 and 2004, and fans have since called for the cast to reunite. It also began streaming on Netflix in the United States in 2015.
