Posted by @world_record_egg earlier this month, the egg's sole mission was to break the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's world record for the most-liked Instagram snap ever.
The number to beat was a cool 18 million likes, which Jenner achieved last year with a photo of her newborn daughter Stormi's hand wrapped around her thumb.
At the time of writing, the post from the 'Egg Gang' has been doubled-tapped over 20 million times, easily surpassing the previous social media milestone.
Having ignored the post since it was created on January 5, Jenner finally responded to the viral campaign, uploading an old video in which she attempted to fry an egg on the hot pavement.
"Take that little egg," she captioned the meme, which was titled: "Kylie when she sees the world record egg account".
The mystery persona behind the record-breaking Insta egg celebrated the achievement by posting a message of gratitude to their supporters on the egg's Instagram story.
"This is madness," the message read.
"What a time to be alive. Thank you so much for all of your support and messages.
"I'm gonna try and get back to as many of you as possible. But for now I need to sleep."
Their mission complete, the 'Egg Gang' assured their 1.7 million followers they were "just getting started" before signing off with a "mic drop".
