Radar Online claims a source says Cosby has been reliving his past life playing Doctor Cliff Huxtable on The Cosby Show by attempting to diagnose and treat fellow inmates while in character.
The gossip website alleges the former comedian has been wearing a bed sheet as an apron to get back into the role at Pennsylvania's Phoenix State prison.
"[He] believes he learned a lot about how to cure people and speak to patients after playing Dr. Huxtable for nearly eight years on The Cosby Show," the source reportedly said.
"He is accepting appointments from inmates to help diagnose anything from a cold to obesity," they continued.
"If he thinks they're incurable, he refers them to the infirmary with a 'preliminary diagnosis'."
The 81-year-old reportedly spends an hour a day teaching meditation and nutrition to his fellow convicts, alongside his unsolicited GP practice.
Cosby was convicted of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and sexually assaulting his one-time friend Andrea Constand in 2004.
