Stuff cameras snapped the 'My Name Is' hitmaker at Wellington Airport on Thursday night after he arrived on a private jet at around 11pm.
Four committed fans waited outside to try and get a glimpse of the real Slim Shady, according to Stuff, but he was whisked away in a convoy of three SUVs.
Fans are already speculating online about which five-star hotel Eminem might be staying at, but the famously elusive rapper is likely to try and keep a low profile during his visit.
The 'Rap God' will play one sold-out show only in Aotearoa, his first ever in the capital on Saturday. The 45,000-strong crowd is set to break attendance records for Westpac Stadium.
It's the first time Eminem has visited New Zealand since releasing his controversial album Kamikaze and engaging in a high-profile feud with rival rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
