On the stage, she'll always be Miley Cyrus, but in her personal life the Hannah Montana star is hereby Miley Hemsworth.
In an appearance on Live With Kelly and Ryan her Hollywood husband, Liam Hemsworth, was congratulated on his wedding to the '7 Things' singer when he revealed the news.
"Miley Rae Hemsworth now, actually," Hemsworth said, correcting the show's host Kelly Ripa when she called Miley by her maiden name.
"She took my name, which was great," he gushed.
"I think that was honestly one of the best things about [getting married].
"I didn't ask her to take my name, but then she's like, 'No, of course I'll take your name.' I'm like, 'That's awesome. That's really good. Thank you.'"
Hemsworth said it's been a "fun" ride in the month-and-a-half since tying the knot, telling Ripa he now stores her number under "wife".
He explained the pair, who appeared together in the 2010 flick The Last Song, didn't want to do anything too extravagant for their recent nuptials.
The power couple instead kept the celebration intimate, inviting only immediate family for a "simple and organic" acknowledgement of their love.
"It was a really nice day. Really, really special."
