The 'God's Plan' hitmaker interrupted his set in Paris to speak to the crowd about the terror attack.
"I saw some really terrible things happened in New Zealand, I just want to talk about it because a lot of my friends, a lot of people I work with are from Muslim backgrounds," he said.

On what Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern dubbed "one of New Zealand's darkest days", a gunman attacked two Christchurch mosques in an unprecedented act of violence for the country that left 50 dead and 50 more injured.
"I want you to know, that when there's terrible things going on in the world, you know, we can still look around this room tonight and see something beautiful," Drake said.
"Because we got people from all races, all places, all religions. And look - we in here showing love tonight.
"So I want to send my love to all the families that are affected. We are praying for you. I wanna spread more love just like this across the world. Paris, I'm proud of y'all tonight, I love y'all."
The Grammy award winner wasn't the only hip-hop star to send his condolences to Aotearoa. Nicki Minaj tweeted: "My heart is with our Muslim brothers & sisters at this time; after the senseless act in New Zealand".
Meanwhile, Chance The Rapper highlighted concerns around the rise of white-nationalist terrorist attacks.
"I've always loved New Zealand. It's such a beautiful, welcoming and once safe place that I've many times talked of moving to," he tweeted.
"I'm devastated by the murder of 49 innocent people in what is only the latest event in the growing number of radical white-nationalist terrorist attacks."
"White-nationalist can also be read 'white supremacist'," he added.
