Nicole Kidman has reportedly been barred from attending her own son Connor Cruise's Scientology wedding by ex-husband Tom Cruise.
According to Radar Online, 24-year-old Connor also subscribes to his father's controversial faith, which has apparently caused a rift between him and his mother for years.
The gossip website reports Tom would "never even consider inviting Nicole" to the wedding, because she's considered a 'suppressive person' by the church.
"Tom made the call and Connor followed," a source said.
"Connor worships the ground his father walks on and would never disobey Tom."
Connor is set to wed his Italian fiancée Silvia, who has been dubbed a "Scientology princess". It's not the first family marriage Nicole will miss - she was absent from daughter Bella's wedding in 2015, too.
Hollywood power couple Tom and Nicole split in 2001, with the Mission Impossible star retaining custody of the pair's adopted kids, raising them as Scientologists.
