The trailer for the upcoming season of Black Mirror has been released, prompting a flurry of excitement from fans who have spied several famous faces.

Perhaps the most unexpected appearance is that of pop star Miley Cyrus, who looks to be playing a musician navigating fame on the provocative show.
Other cast members include Avengers: Infinity War star Anthony Mackie and That 70's Show's Topher Grace.
Cyrus began her acting career on Disney's Hannah Montana, but has since stayed largely within the music scene. Now, it appears fans are desperate to check out the 'Can't Stop' singer's serious acting chops.

"The fact that miley Cyrus features gives me LIFE," said another.
"I HAVE A FEELING THAT MILEY'S EPISODE ON BLACK MIRROR IS A DARKER VERSION OF HANNAH MONTANA," one fan captioned screen grabs of Cyrus donning a purple wig.

The 26-year-old also took to social media to share her excitement, thanking fans for "all the Black Mirror love".
The fifth season of the Netflix series created by Charlie Brooker will drop on June 5.
