Laura Daniel has been awarded the first 10 of this season of Dancing with the Stars NZ.
Known for her high-energy sassy performances, in Sunday's episode the comedian showed off her emotional side with a soulful foxtrot.
She and partner Shae Mountain donned 1970s-style outfits and glided around the floor to Elton John's 'Your Song'.

The judges were stunned, with Camilla Sacre-Dallerup pronouncing the routine "an absolute delight".
"You were like a professional the way you glided from move to move," she said, praising Daniel's extension and elegant head movement.
Rachel White called Daniel's dancing "exquisite".
"One of the reasons I love this show is because we really get to discover how capable one may be, and you just might be limitless."
Julz Tocker said the dance was "stunning" and had everything he wanted to see in a foxtrot.
He and White both scored Daniel a 9, while Sacre-Dallerup awarded her the very first 10 of the competition for an impressive total of 28.
Social media was similarly impressed, with Twitter users calling the performance "beautiful".
