Hit fantasy show Game of Thrones has come to an end and a lot of people who watched it are upset.
But they don't seem to be upset that the series has finished - instead, most are angry at how it has finished.

Furious fan reactions are nothing new, but in recent years they've been amplified by the mob mentality of the internet.
Crybaby petitions demanding things be redone differently and amateur re-edits that remove all the female characters are just some of outcomes of toxic contemporary fandom.
But more immediate reactions come by way of social media.
"Worst episode of the entire series," tweeted @Kay_Mantanga about Game of Thrones S08E06 'The Iron Throne'.
"Very underwhelming," added @TheASMLife.
Another tweet likened the ending of Game of Thrones to that of the much-maligned finales for Dexter and Lost.
Others specifically called out the show's writers and producers, with @Hutchens130 using a tweet to label showrunners David Benioff and Daniel Weiss "the true villains of Game of Thrones".

Although the Game of Thrones TV show has ended, a prequel spin-off series is on the way from HBO. The series of novels the show is based on, A Song of Ice and Fire, also still has two books yet to be released.
