Fans noticed a takeaway cup from the coffee giant Starbucks on a table in the particular scene.
Now, the show's producers have responded with a joke on Twitter, admitting there had been a mistake.
It's estimated the coffee cup gaffe is said to have generated more than $1 million worth of free publicity for Starbucks.
But while Starbucks might have been jumping for joy at the gaffe, it's brewed up quite a storm among fans online.
"You're telling me they had TWO YEARS to put together a decent show and they couldn't even spot the goddamn Starbucks cup in Winterfell??!?!" one Twitter user said.
"I would like some giant's milk with my latte, thanks," another joked.
