In the interview, she opens up about her latest song, 'ME!', which was produced by Little and her time working with the Kiwi-bred Grammy Award-winning songwriter.
"It almost reminds me of Nashville when I would go into a room, I'd bring my guitar and plan an idea I brought in and then we start writing a song," she told Beats 1's Zane Lowe.
"There's so many different ways you can write a song. And especially in pop music, a lot of the time people will make a track. You sing over the track, you think of ideas.
"But with Joel - it's very [like] two songwriters in a room crafting a song, then you figure out what it's going to sound like. And he's amazing."
As well as Swift, Little has also worked alongside Lorde, Shawn Mendes, and Khalid amongst a number of other big name artists.
On her new song and her experience co-directing the video, Swift said that too had been amazing.
"It's been so much fun and putting out this song and video has been really, really exciting and just a really joyful experience. I just feel really grateful."
