The Chase star Paul Sinha has revealed he has Parkinson's disease.
Sinha, who is a 'Chaser' on the popular quiz show, wrote in a blog post he initially began seeing doctors in September 2017 after his shoulder froze up.

He was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes as a result, and had a shoulder operation in January 2019. But he became concerned when he had a consistent limp while he was visiting New Zealand in May.
"Behind the facade of the cheerful, late-night comedy festival drunk was a man deeply scared about facing the truth when back in the UK," he wrote.
"It has been a really, really tough two weeks."
He was officially diagnosed on May 30.
Parkinson's disease is a neurological condition that affects movement and coordination. It cannot be cured, but the symptoms can be managed.
Symptoms slowly get worse over around 15 years. With good medical treatment Parkinson's usually only has a minor effect on life expectancy.
Actor Michael J Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1992 and is still working today, 27 years later.
Sinha said he now has a treatment plan worked out and feels like he can continue with his career mostly as normal. He will continue to work on The Chase, as well as comedy show Taskmaster.
"Dancing on Ice is, I suspect, out of the question," he said.
