MediaWorks announced on Thursday that Ben Quinn has been appointed to the role of Director of Content - TV for Three, effective immediately.
The announcement comes after Andrew Szusterman resigned in July.
Quinn has been with MediaWorks, which owns Newshub, for over 17 years and was most recently Head of Programming and Acquisitions.
"I'm excited to be moving up into the role and to be bringing my years of experience to the talented MediaWorks leadership team," says Quinn.
"My passion for this business and the world of TV and content is mirrored all around me by the fantastic people I work with here every day.
"I'm looking forward to building on the recent success with TV that our team under Andrew Szusterman has achieved."
MediaWorks says Quinn has played an integral role in the development of the TV business, having held a variety of roles for both FOUR and TV3 since 2002 and working alongside Szusterman for the latter part of his career.
"We are thrilled to have Ben step into this role and know our TV content strategy will be in great hands," says MediaWorks CEO Michael Anderson.
