Australian actor Ben Unwin, known for his role as Home and Away's Jesse McGregor, has died.
Unwin's body was reportedly found by police on August 14 last week, the day before his 42nd birthday.
"Police attended Minyon Falls, Whian Whian, responding to a concern for welfare," said a police statement.
"The body of a 41-year-old man was located. The death has not been treated as suspicious."
Unwin was known for his potrayal of bad boy Jesse McGregor on the long-running soap, playing the character between 1996 and 1999 before returning for a second stint on Home and Away between 2002 and 2005.
Unwin completed a law degree following his acting career, Perth Now reports.
He was nominated for Most Popular New Talent at the 1997 Logie Awards and received nominations for Best Actor and Sexiest Male in the late 1990s.
A 2016 article from Woman's Day said Unwin had been working as a senior solicitor in Newcastle, New South Wales.
