The former pop star celebrated by uploading a photo to Instagram that showed off her slimmed-down figure just six months after giving birth to her second daughter.
Simpson explained she previously "tipped the scales at 240" pounds, approximately 108kg, adding that she was "so proud to feel like herself again".
"Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder," she wrote.
The 'Irresistible'' hitmaker publicly documented her pregnancy online, coining the term "Jess-tation" alongside a polaroid of her cradling her heavily pregnant stomach.
She asked her followers for remedies when her legs swelled with extreme water retention and shared her purchase of a sleep recliner to help with severe pregnancy acid reflux.
In February this year, she even shared a snap holding a broken toilet seat with the warning: "don't lean back on the toilet when pregnant".
The latest addition to Simpson's family is Birdie Mae, a little sister to Simpson and her husband Eric Thompson's two other children, Ace Knute and Maxwell 'Maxi' Drew.
