Newshub presenter Samantha Hayes has announced the birth of her son.
On Monday, Hayes took to Twitter to share an adorable image of the new arrival, writing it was "news so good we had to keep it to ourselves for a while".

"Marlow River Blaauw was born at 8.38pm on 19.09.19 weighing 3.38kg," wrote the Newshub Live at 6 presenter.
"He's a determined, snuffly, beautiful wee boy and we love him to pieces.
"Huge thanks to the team who got him here safely."
Hayes first announced she was expecting her first child with partner Jeroen 'Jay' Blaauw back in May, before sharing the baby's gender in July.
She bid an emotional goodbye to her "Newshub family" when she went on maternity leave on September 12, saying she was "heading off to start a family of my own".
