Sharyn Casey has paid tribute to her husband Bryce Casey, referencing their fraught path to parenthood in an emotional Father's Day post.
Alongside a photo of Bryce cradling his newborn son Tyson, Sharyn thanked her partner for being an "amazing dad" who goes "above and beyond" for his child.
The Edge host took the opportunity to make a special shout out to anyone missing their dad on Father's Day, and any hopeful fathers-to-be who might be trying for a baby.
"Sending loads of love to the people that remember their awesome Dads and to the dudes wanting so badly to be Dads, I’m crossing everything for you that your wish comes true ASAP," she wrote.
"It used to break my heart watching Bryce struggle through Father's Day on our long journey to Tyson so please be kind to yourselves today."
The radio power couple have both spoken frankly about losing three babies to miscarriages while trying to have their first child together.
"Every single one of them feels like a real baby, and you miss them," Bryce told The Project through tears last year.
Meanwhile, Sharyn has announced she is doing a 10km run this week to raise money for mothers living with anxiety and depression.
"Parent life is hard AF," she wrote in her Instagram story. "To add that battle on top of that nobody deserves."
The couple welcomed their baby boy in January 2018 after Sharyn underwent surgery to improve their chances of conceiving.
