British girl group Little Mix has announced they will no longer play Auckland's Spark Arena in December this year.
The 'Black Magic' hitmakers shared the news on Twitter, telling fans they were "so sorry" for disappointing them.
"We are really sad to announce that we have to cancel our upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour dates," the tweet read.
"We are so sorry for disappointing our fans who were coming to the shows.
"This is not a decision we've taken lightly but we have to use this time to focus on recording new music."
Many of the Mixers affected aren't satisfied with the reason for the cancellation, venting their frustration on social media.
"This is so dumb and wrong," one fan wrote.
"Y'all need to finish the era you started before rushing into making another project."
"A REFUND ON TICKETS IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE FANS' FEELINGS," said another.
"I am heartbroken! I was looking forward to this," one fan complained.
"I was gonna be front row, and I already surprised my little cousin."
Many of the replies to Little Mix's tweet called for "more respect" for the fans affected.
Kiwi ticketholders have been directed to Ticketmaster to arrange a refund.
