The pair decided to hit the studio together to put their spin on the iconic song "for a laugh", having spent hours singing together while filming the reality TV show.
"It's fair to say you see a lot of me singing on air, but what you don't get to see is that Jordy and I actually sing a lot together for a laugh," Anna told Newshub.
"It's kind of goofy, but we did our own 'Carpool Karaoke' when cruising around Auckland during the shoot period.
"We've had some epic sing-a-longs to S Club 7 and when Jordy told me he knew the rap from 'Waterfalls' I had to hear it."
Singer/songwriter Anna said it was her idea to record the track, which pushed her husband Jordan well out of his comfort zone.
While Anna continues to pursue a career in music, fans shouldn't be expecting any official releases from the duo.
"This was just for fun. We know we're not the next Sonny and Cher, and we don't want to be," Anna said.
"We are just really happy together... really in love and didn't see the harm in recording something silly for the memories.
"Who knows, maybe we can play it to our kids one day!"
Anna and Jordan will reunite with their fellow castmates in the final two episodes of Married At First Sight NZ, which will air on Sunday at 7pm and Monday at 7.30pm on Three. Previous episodes can be viewed on ThreeNow.
